The senate is run in character with little to no interference from the moderators and admins (really, we're only going to step in if it's abused). Here are the basics. - Every person can have as many senators as they want, but only 1 may be on the Galactic Senate at any given time.
- Planets, guilds, and factions can all get senators active in the senate.
- If no senator has been assigned to your' planet (by voting or term system), you may appoint some one else (another players' character) as a senator so the planet still gets a (as long as they don't have a senator active in the senate already).
- Sign up to be a senator [here]. If the planet doesn't have anyone on the Galactic Senate, you will be bumped to the Galactic Senate.
- All senators not in the Galactic Senate are advisors to those on the Galactic Senate.
- The Senate (Galactic and Local) may call on the Jedi to act as ambassadors to peacefully negotiate with potentially hostile forces.
