All armors can shrug off slug throwers, resistance to regular melee weapons.
Light
Civilian use, not military grade. Mesh armor, strands of light weight metal woven into fibers that form armor. Armored padded flight suit. Bits and pieces of blaster resistant plating, covers body but with gaps.
Medium
For local security, like planitary police. Storm trooper armor, light weight cloth polomyer that can redistribute heat, hard durasteel (or the cheaper plasteel) armored plating,
Heavy
For military use only, built for heavy infantry and demolitions. Sometimes made from armored plating of star ships, bonding it to the outside of a durasteel suit of armor with a mesh or weave underlay. Head to toe armored plating, giving the wearer full protection with little to no gaps.
NOTE: No armor can withstand a lightsaber strike without a request or archive of permission added to the request board for our records. Without that request or that archive, the lightsaber will cut through it like a hot knife through butter.
Light
- Ignores the first two blasterbolts
- Lessens blunt damage (like punches, kicks, ect). The armor will not stop it but the damage will not be as severe as normal.
